individual(s) to be involved in<BR>promoting the region, the Yorkshire and
Humber Assembly and our work<BR><BR>We need someone to work with our
Communications Manager and the External<BR>Affairs team to develop our strategic
and operational communications and<BR>relationships with partners. We need your
support from January to June<BR>2005 to cover a secondment from the Assembly to
Government Office.<BR><BR>Campaigns, websites, publications and media work will
be among your<BR>challenges. We're looking for someone who
can:<BR>1. Understand the regional
agenda.<BR>2. Manage & support relationships
with key regional opinion formers <BR>
and partners; <BR>3. Design and implement
influencing campaigns targeted at business
<BR> people, politicians and others
nationally, regionally and <BR>
locally;<BR>4. Handle multiple important and
urgent requirements at the same <BR>
time; <BR>5. Show understanding of local authority
structures and issues.<BR><BR>Ideally you'll have experience in the public,
private and voluntary<BR>sector. You will have worked with senior people up to
chief executive/<BR>council leader level. You will be able to work with small
groups or on a<BR>one-to-one basis with influencers as required.<BR><BR>You may
be looking for part-time/full-time work, consultancy or<BR>secondment. We
