By now many gardeners have seen first-hand what the late blight fungus
can
do to ruin a tomato crop. Perhaps your potatoes are also infected? If
you want to learn more about the fungus that causes this disease, how it
is spread and overwinters, plan to attend a class with Cornell Plant
Pathologist, Dr. William Fry, who has spent a career studying this
fungus.

Dr. Fry will be speaking at Tompkins County Cornell Cooperative
Extension,
615 Willow Avenue in Ithaca on Tuesday, August 25, from 7-8:30 PM.
This informational meeting is FREE, however due to limited space, please
call or email to let us know that you will attend - (607) 272-2292 or
email growline at cornell.edu.
