The invitation to the list said "feel free to introduce yourself" so I
guess I will.  I'm not sure how many people are on the list so far or
who was at the party last night, so...

I'm Greg.  I live at White Hawk Ecovillage in Danby.  

Right now I don't know particularly what I can offer in barter, but I
believe in the idea very strongly.  I hope someday to be doing
metalsmithing work which I could trade for other things.  I'm a big
proponent of "reskilling" -- redeveloping the skills that our
grandparents and great grandparents used every day.  One of my goals
for our village is to have a collection of people with complementary
skills that will allow us to turn a significant amount of our economy
into barter within the village and with the surrounding Ithaca and
Danby community.
