hi sharers!
does anyone have any musical instruments, or know of anyone who has some, that could be donated to this awesome organization? please read on for donation details.
if you do donate something please email me at ari at shirari.com - we love to hear about successful swaps and shares. (we met these folks at the really really free market this weekend.)
thank you, and peace!

> Hi,
> I don't think I ever formally introduced myself, but my name is Nick Otis, a founding member of Developing Pictures Media (developingpictures.org). We are currently running several projects in Haiti, from setting up bamboo nurseries to creating free promotional videos, and bringing instruments to Haitian orphans. Jack Weisman is head of the music project, which can be viewed under "The Haiti Project-Music" on our website.
> Jack returned yesterday from Haiti and said the trip was amazing, and that more instruments are greatly needed. His email is weisman.jack at gmail.com, and his phone number is (607) 351-5039. Here'.s where things get a little complicated. Jack and I go to school in Canada. I leave tomorrow, Jack in early September. Another Developing Pictures member, Chris Dennis, would probably be picking up and storing the instruments temporarily.
> I can be reached until tomorrow at 607 277 1215, and after that at 1 514 867 9574 *Be aware, calling my Canadian cell phone number can be expensive for both parties.* Email is also fine. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I have a feeling that this can be a fantastic contribution to people who truly need our help. Thanks for your time,
> -Nick Otis
