Subject: Cancelation of tonight's Food Security/System Planning Mtg.

Hello Everyone,

Earlier this morning I received message that the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) will be closing at 5PM this afternoon due to  expected hazardous weather conditions. Therefore tonight's  Food Security/System Planning meeting is also cancelled. While the roads may be safe to travel within the city limits and outline county, there are those with young children, the elders and those with physical challenges that may not be able to commute safely.  Thank you to those who raised your concern that some might really struggle or not attend due to the weather, particularly those with children, elders and people with physical challenges. It is a reminder to be mindful of others so we can encourage representation of all interested stakeholders in our gatherings.

An announcement of the rescheduled date will be sent out soon.
