[ShareTompkins] Help/Advice/Instruction/Sweat Needed for End Room Deconstruction

I'm looking for resources for taking down the small (former garage) end
room of my little house prior to a contractor's rebuilding it.

The person who had the know-how who started with me is out of state with an
ailing family member. We pulled up the carpet, took down all the trim and
wood paneling, and had just started on the walls. I have some, but not
all, of the necessary tools, and I have access to a tall ladder, I have the
desire to learn, and to put theory into action, and I want to re-use or
give away to someone else to re-use anything salvageable from this very
poorly remodeled room. I have the demolition permit, and I have insurance
to cover non-fulltime people involved in the project.

In return for instruction/help/use of tools (really hoping to get my hands
on a sawz-all, or however you spell it, so that I can re-use the door frame
to the closet), I can offer sweat equity on a project of your own; and/or
we can come up with something else.

The contractor can start the rebuild mid- to late December, so I have the
rest of November and the first part of December for the deconstruction.

I'm located a half mile above the Commons on South Hill, Ithaca City.

I would appreciate any type of assistance.
