*Exploring the Deep River Within:*
*A Whole Weekend of Sacred Pause for Women Only*
Something new is beckoning – can you feel it? Something old is being
replaced – can you feel the urge to de-clutter and make room for……..? There
is an awakening of the sweet power of silence in your life – as if an inner
monastic is calling to you. Can you hear her? You feel the need to journey
to an oasis from the busyness of your life – will you take the first step?
Can you honor these urges without knowing where they will lead you? Would
you like to make the first part of your journey in a safe and comfortable
setting with women who are experiencing the same vague pulls, tugs and
un-settlings?**
*“Exploring the Deep River Within”* is a two-day journey into your
truest self. Different practices and modalities will be explored each day
to help you answer the questions that each of us seems to be asking right
now: *“Who Am I Now?”** *and *“What Do I Want Now?”** *Prayer, meditation,
sound, journeying, art, poetry, journaling, drawing, fabric collage etc.
are just some of the methods we will use to explore in the Deep River. *All
materials will be provided. Come dressed to do some outside explorations,
weather permitting.*****
*This is an overnight experience, but I honor those that must go home to
family and pets and cannot stay the night. Saturday will go from 9:30 –
5:00 and Sunday will go from 9:30 – 4:00. Special activities will be
included for those staying overnight. Door prizes will be given for the
most outlandish pj’s, socks and slippers. Since JOY is one of the fruits of
the Spirit, let’s have some FUN at this pj party!!*
Please bring your journal, an item to place on the altar we will build
together as a group, and a can (or more) of food for the local food bank.
Also bring sleeping bags, sheets, towels and your favorite teddy bear or
blankie. The warmth of friendship, radiant heat and the fireplace will keep
you toasty. ****
A dish to pass for Sat. dinner would be appreciated. Food for lunches and
snacks is also appreciated. Sunday breakfast and all beverages are
provided. Call to register and to let me know what you will be bringing. ***
*
*Dates:** **April 28-29, 2012.** **Cost:** **Just $175.00. Some scholarship
money available. If your heart wants to come, then come. Payment plans can
be worked out.** **DO NOT STAY HOME BECAUSE OF FINANCES!!** **This is a
not-to-be-missed chance to meet with other women and form new friendships.
We are a soul group meeting to do very important soul work. Follow your
heart that says “YES!” and not your ego that says “NO!” Trust Yourself!
This is the age of self-empowerment. Start NOW!*
Cash or personal checks are accepted. No credit cards accepted.****
*To register (or for questions) please call 607-659-3909 or e-mail me
at **nsmary at aol.com* <nsmary at aol.com>*.*
