The NO FRAC ALMANAC is a newspaper put out by Jeremy Alderson and
others to inform people about Hydrofracking. It has facts and
articles, plus a lot of photos and interviews with people already
experiencing hydrofracking in PA.
The Almanac is available free as a PDF FILE at the address above
(Please Circulate Widely to those you think can use it) and also paper
copies are available from Jeremy Alderson, to people who can
distribute a reasonable number. He is based in Binghamton but comes to
Ithaca periodically. He will be in Ithaca this WED May 16 and FRI May
18. You can contact him at Jeremy Alderson mailto:radio at lightlink.com
REMINDER: For an article on the EPA and why it CAN'T protect us
against hydrofracking hazards see:
Designed to Fail: Why Regulatory Agencies Don’t Work
By William Sanjour retired from the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency in 2001 after 30 years, most of it spent in regulations.
This Article should prove useful to people who think that we can rely
on the EPA to protect our health and environment. It should also be
useful to those who want to understand our regulatory system and what
it would take to make it work for people rather than corporations.
