[ShareTompkins] Planning/vision meeting: Arts & Nature Day Camp for Special Needs Adults, Summer 2013

Vision/Planning Meeting   7 pm Thursday April 18
Neighborhood Pride Cafe, corner Hancock & First Streets

Pilot Week: July 29-August 2, Robert Treman Park South Pavilion
- with thanks to support from the Community Foundation of  Tompkins County

Appreciating the special needs adults have few opportunities for arts and
nature enrichment once they leave high school, the Level Green Institute -
with help from Finger Lakes Independence Center staff - is exploring
possibilities for creating an arts & nature summer day camp.

We invite interested folks from families and agencies to  join us for a
meeting to get YOUR ideas of how to  make this July/August trial run a rich
experience - and an effective pilot program - and to begin thinking
together about how to address the broader need for post-secondary
enrichment programming for persons with disabilities.
