> A multi-skill home food preserving workshop will be held TONIGHT (Friday) at Varna Community Center put on by IthaCan on April 12th from 6:30-9:00pm.

> Walk-ins and newcomers are most welcome!
> We will begin with a keynote presentation on the Home Food Processor's Role in the Local Foodshed. Following the presentation, participants will be able to attend two of four hands-on learning sessions:
> Fermentation
> Root Cellaring
> Canning
> Dehydration
> Suggested donation to cover the costs of the evening is $5 on a sliding scale.
> This event is co-sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County
