> If you are interested in helping make Ithaca more beautiful while learning about flower gardening, consider joining the Beautification Brigade! The Beautification Brigade is a group of volunteers who work with the Community Beautification Program at various flower planting sites around the City of Ithaca. No previous experience is necessary to join. Training for the 2014 Beautification Brigade will be held Monday, March 3 and Tuesday March 18 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, at Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, 615 Willow Ave, Ithaca.
