Hi everybody!

Please consider this amazing opportunity. Betti and Joe are amazing people
on amazing land.

> Join an emerging intentional community/ homestead/ farm in Trumansburg NY
>
> Full Creeks Collective is located four miles due west of Trumansburg. At
present we are a small family: Betti and Joe Lambro and two young sons,
Finnegan (almost six), and Oliver (2&1/2). We hope to grow to have from
four to ten households (Full Creeks Collective is open to all people,
regardless of race, religion, Gender orientation, age, marital/family
status, national origin, physical and mental ability, or political
affiliation.)
>
> The land consists of 105 acres total, 25 acres of forest (Including sugar
maples), about 20 acres of wetland, 30 acres of pasture/ hayfields of which
three are deer fenced for vegetables, and the remainder in what we call the
wild rose area. To us it is a magical place bursting with potential!
>
> We welcome any and all farming or homesteading skills! We hope to attract
people that would like to create small land-based businesses, but also
embrace folks who would work jobs away from the land, or do both at once.
>
> We are looking for long-term members who can give true commitment to the
land and the people, who can commit to the processes of healthy
communication and community meetings required for a healthy and functional
community, and who want to become equal owners of the land over time. At
present, there is very limited housing; anyone seeking to join long-term
would need to vision home-building as part of their future, preferably
green built and off the grid (which we presently are).
>
> Full Creeks Collective is Home to Giving Ground Farm (GGF), our small
family farm that is presently in its third growing season. You could start
your own land-based business, or you could become part of GGF. GGF markets
vegetables at the Trumansburg Farmers Market, and also has FULL membership
with the Ithaca Farmers Market. We have a small herd of American Milking
Devon cattle, are raising heritage breed pigs for the first time this year,
and have a small orchard of peaches, apples, and Asian pears.
>
> Some of our aspirations for the land and community include: green built
homes, Permaculture gardens, solar, wind And animal power, some form of
outdoor education (the many ecosystems present are perfect for it!), more
fruit and nut orchards, maple syrup production, raising our own eggs, meat,
milk, fruits, and vegetables. Above all, we hope to create a tight knit
community of people that truly care for one another and share in life's
joys, sorrows, meals, work, play, and more...
>
> Vision Statement:
>
> Farming. Food. Family. Community. Integrity. A simple, cooperative,
regenerative life.
>
>
> Vision: (shared image of what is possible in community, our motivation
for community)
>
> We are a farm-based intentional community where food and friends are
central to healthy families and vibrant community life. We work together
and with nature to enjoy an abundant yet simple existence.
>
> We cooperate in raising our young people close to the earth and with keen
self, social, ecological, political, and economic awareness.
>
> We create our own “social security” through strong and lasting
interpersonal relationships built on Healthy Communication, trust, and
mutual growth and support.
>
> We empower ourselves and others to create positive change in the world.
>
> We serve as a model of a gentle, regenerative, and successful way to live.
>
>
> If this might be right for you, we want to meet you! Please contact Betti
Lambro at givinggroundfarm at gmail.com.
