> Join the Friends of Stewart Park, the City of Ithaca, the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, the Wharton Studio Museum and other park revitalization partners for a one-hour presentation on the many exciting park revitalization projects that have been completed, are underway, and are being planned in Stewart Park.

> During the past four years, numerous improvements have been made in Stewart Park including the construction of the Cayuga Waterfront Trail, the renovation of the Mayor Stewart Memorial Flagpole Garden, the reconstruction of the Tea Pavilion, new plantings at the park entrance, and a variety of new exterior interpretive signs.

> Key projects being planned include a new inclusive playground & spraypark for children of all ages and abilities; the Wharton Studio Museum in the historic Wharton Studio building that will celebrate Ithaca's silent film history; the renovation of the Picnic (Large) Pavilion, the painting of the Carousel horses for the first time in 36 years; and important improvements to the historic Cascadilla Boathouse.  Future projects being considered will be introduced and discussed.
