> Holiday New Book Drive at Buffalo Street Books

> Family Reading Partnership and Buffalo Street Books are partnering for Give the Gift of Family Reading to help low-income families have children’s books to give to their children as gifts this holiday season.

> Beginning November 26, Community members are invited to participate by purchasing a book from Buffalo Street Books to donate to Family Reading Partnership. The books will be given to low-income families with babies and young children to choose from through Family Reading Partnership’s Give the Gift of Family Reading program. Monetary donations to purchase books are also welcome.

> Give the Gift of Family Reading is one of Family Reading Partnership’s 12 core programs dedicated to creating a culture of literacy in our community and beyond. The program helps low-income families participate in Family Reading Partnership’s nation-wide initiative, A Book on Every Bed, which invites all families to place a book at the foot of each child’s bed to open on a winter holiday morning.
