> Hey everyone!
>
> I wanted to share with the list serve the Finger Lakes School of Massage specialty clinics for the 2017 calendar year. Below you will find more information about these clinics and how to sign up for them. We get a high volume for these free sessions and often cannot accommodate everyone, but we try our hardest to offer this service to the community in a way that serves the most people.

> When you go into the website to request a massage you will be doing just that, REQUESTING a session. This is not a guaranteed massage as the students have a lot of requests from people in the community who are hoping to partake in the student clinics. I always tell people that they should request 2-3 dates that would work for them, and then once a student calls and books with you please go in and erase your other requests to free up the space for someone else. We are only allowing one free massage per person during these outreach clinics in the hopes of serving as much of the population as possible. If you are interested in coming in for a paid session they are $40/90 minutes and you would sign up the same way. Last thing to note about the free massages, when you sign up please put that you are a part of the population we are working with for that month in the NOTES SECTION of your reservation. This will let the students know that you are part of the outreach program which they know to look for first when booking clients. Here is the link to the clinic sign-up page again - http://www.flsm.com/clinic.php.

> General clinic notes - clinics are supervised and happen in a large open room with many students and clients. Even in this space the sessions do feel private and clients are asked to undress to their level of comfort. If you're not comfortable undressing it is good to put this in the notes as they may shift the work they are planning to do with you to accommodate working with clothing on. Students are not allowed to receive any monetary compensation for their work. Truly, the best tip you can give them is open and honest feedback about the session. This is time for them to learn and grow, not necessarily time for someone to receive a perfect massage. Here are our groups for the year!
