Please come get (re)inspired to to make active change!
Active Hope Workshops:
Are you concerned about Global Climate Change? Water, Air, and Land Pollution? Biodiversity Loss? Social and Economic Injustice? Never ending War? Do you see these and other global crises as all connected?
Come experience Active Hope! Active Hope is about helping us process and move through our feelings of despair, anger, and sorrow about the state of the planet in order that we be able to go forth and each do our piece of good work toward helping save life on planet Earth and move in healthy and sane directions as a human species. Active Hope helps us end the cycle of feeling paralyzed or ineffective due to our natural and normal feelings of hopelessness in the face of daunting global crises.

Description:
Active Hope is a unique and effective framework largely based on transformational group and interpersonal activities that help us dig deep within ourselves in order to connect deeply with others, find our own inner truths and powers, and greet our interconnectedness with all life on Earth. Active Hope helps engender individual and community EMPOWERMENT!
Active Hope (also known as the Work That Reconnects (WTR) has been developed, honed, and taught worldwide by Joanna Macy and her colleagues since 1978. These workshops will be based on "Coming Back To Life: The Updated Guide to the Work That Reconnects" (2014, by Joanna Macy and Molly Brown) and "Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We're In Without Going Crazy" (2012, by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone).
