> In addition to our regular goals of providing a forum for our Tompkins County neighbors to meet Muslims, bring questions, and enjoy and benefit from each others company, we would like to encourage ourselves and all who feel so inclined to exercise our democratic rights and responsibilities with a letter writing session to our elected representatives.

We will also have postcards on hand to support the initiative put forward by a community member which seeks to collect 10,000 signed postcards expressing a wish to rescind the ban on immigrants coming to our country. These are to be sent together to the White House at the beginning of the following week.
