For those of you on the fence about whether to come to the Listening Workshop on the 23rd at Eco-Village of Ithaca, I wanted to share the following testimonial from a recent workshop participant:
"I still feel like I’m in the Listening workshop. I am watching my thoughts arise and take shape in response to others and then listening and absorbing interpersonal information in ways I never have. Pretty exciting. Most workshop content fades after a few days or weeks, but not yours. It’s in my veins and arteries somehow. I’ve spilled your name and skills on lots of friends."
--Charles C. Geisler Professor of Development Sociology Emeritus
Sue has been teaching about listening for 7 years, which includes working with physical therapy students at Ithaca College and, more recently, with Spencer residents in their efforts to address political divisiveness in the community.
