> Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties is proud to present our 9th annual Women Build Weekend.  Join us as we gather over one hundred local women for two days filled with construction and power tool training, Habitat for Humanity home construction, camaraderie… and a lot of fun.  We’ll provide the tools, safety gear, t-shirts, food and swag… you provide the energy and enthusiasm for team building, learning, and affordable housing!  Our female construction supervisors are ready to teach proper tool use, carpentry and home construction skills.  Make this Mother’s Day weekend a memorable one by pounding some nails, swinging your hammer and making a difference in our community with dozens of other local women.  And, bring a friend or family member!  All women ages 14 and up are welcome, no construction experience necessary.
