<div><p class="MsoNormal">As many of you know, LACS has partnered with the Full Plate
Collective (a local CSA) and youth from the Southside Community Center to farm
a piece of land south of Ithaca. This effort provides food for the LACS community,
BJM’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Snack Program, and the Congo Square Market
(at Southside Community Center). This partnership has MANY benefits both
for LACS students and the Ithaca community – providing quality fresh
foods, increasing understanding of where food comes from, providing work
opportunities for local youth, and building community.</p><div> <br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><p class="MsoNormal">The farm could use <b>your help</b> this weekend to get its
plants in the ground. Volunteers will meet at the farm on Sunday morning
at 9:00 am for a few hours. There is lots of work to be done, so lots of
volunteers are needed.</p><div> <br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><p class="MsoNormal">The farm is located at <span style="font-size: 10pt;">23 Nelson Road which is a left off route 96B
going up from Ithaca College. It is across the street from a farm house
