Southside Community Center's Juneteenth Celebration (see below) which is
a wonderful way to continue to build on your relationships with each
other and the Southside community. Not only will you be giving valuable

We need You and Your Family to make this a memorable event.
Juneteenth is not only a celebration of remembrance of the very rich
history of African American's in this country.<br>
<br>
This year, the Southside Community Center will host its annual Juneteenth
Celebration and Street Festival with a theme of "Reflections of Our
Past, Light Our Future" on Saturday 19th. This year promises
to be a fun filled celebration showcasing Live Musical and Dance
performances, Arts & Crafts, Children's Activities, vendor and
community agency tables, a silent auction and of course, outstanding
food! <br>
<br>
I am seeking your assistance in making the festival a success. We
are in desperate need of volunteers to assist throughout the day.
Below is an example of what's needed, keep in mind that we ask volunteers
to sign up for ONLY a two our shift. <br>
Jobs to cover(Time needed)<br>
1. Set up (7 - 11 a.m.) - set up tables, chairs, sound equipment<br>
2. Festival Staffing (11 am - 7pm) - to staff activities such as the
bounce houses, snow cone machine, children's activities, etc.<br>
3. Clean-up (7 - 9pm) - break down tables, chairs, food machines and
bounce houses, trash <br>
