You are allowed to have additional non-swingers there, as long as the eight-swinger minimum is met. Then you can ATTEND as many as two dinners each week. If you are a couple, you would have to host two dinners to fulfill the commitment, etc...</div><div><br></div><div>Dinners are posted on the community calendar and have special notices for vegan, vegetarian, etc., so people know what they are attending. There will probably be a cap on how many members will be accepted, but for now I believe it is still open for membership. They are just starting.</div><div><br></div><div>If this doesn't appeal to you, I wouldn't mind being part of a second group that is geared toward families :)</div><div><br></div><div>:D</div><div><div apple-content-edited="true"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; "><div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div><br></div><div>Danielle Klock</div><div>Managing Editor</div><div><a href="http://ithaca.wishingwellmagazine.org/" target="_blank">WishingWellMagazine.org</a></div><div>Ithaca, NY</div><div>(607) 379-1527</div><div><br></div><div><div>Sustaining Sponsor of the <a href="http://sustainabletompkins.org/programs/mini-grants" target="_blank">Sustainable Tompkins Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program</a></div><div>Charter member of the Sustainable Enterprise and Entrepreneur Network (SEEN)</div><div><br></div><div>Find us on Facebook: <a href="http://www.facebook.com/wishingwell.ithaca" target="_blank">http://www.facebook.com/wishingwell.ithaca</a></div><div>Follow us on Twitter: <a href="http://twitter.com/wwmithaca" target="_blank">http://twitter.com/wwmithaca</a></div><div><br></div></div></div></span><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"> </div><br><div><div>On Jul 6, 2010, at 4:39 PM, Ari Moore wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"><div>hi all,<br><br>i just read this interesting story about cooking coops, and thought i'd share it:<br><a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/23/dining/23coop.html">http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/23/dining/23coop.html</a><br><br>i'd love to participate in a vegan cooking coop (or even just a regular produce swap) locally! is anyone doing stuff like this already in the ithaca area?<br><br>thanks and peace,<br>ari<br><br>--<br>Ari Moore - Shirari Industries<br>ari@shirari.com<br><br>http://shirari.com<br>http://twitter.com/arimoore<br><br>Pass it on: "New UN Report Says Vegan Diet Vital To Saving The Environment, Curbing Fossil Fuel Use"<br>http://bit.ly/aq9bp5<br><br><br>_______________________________________________<br>ShareTompkins mailing list<br>ShareTompkins@lists.aktivix.org<br>https://lists.aktivix.org/mailman/listinfo/sharetompkins<br></div></blockquote></div><br></div></body></html>
