Most NLI participants are informal and emerging leaders, with good ideas and passion, but often without formal leadership roles or titles. It was an honor. Before this group, I never thought of myself as a leader before." <br> <x-tab> </x-tab> "Being nominated made me feel more valuable. Knowing that somebody thinks you're a leader makes a big difference. I've always taken supportive roles, but I didn't think anybody was going to listen to my ideas." <br><br> Participants take part in 8 group sessions, meet and learn from experienced community leaders and each other, and work together on a small community project that they choose. We provide dinner & child care.
