On Sunday, we will be at West Haven Farm at EcoVillage in Ithaca. This will be one of our very last events of the year, so we hope you can come out and celebrate the harvest season with us!<br><br><font size="4"><font size="6">Crop Mob at West Haven Farm</font><br>Sunday, October 24th, from 9-1<br></font><br><font size="4"><b>The Ithaca Crop Mob</b></font> is a group of farmers and community members who love our local farms. Once a month, we assemble and "mob" a local farm, putting our hands to work to accomplish a goal. Afterwards, we share a meal. This is a great way to meet new people, get exercise and fresh air, learn about agriculture, and eat some delicious local food. Everyone is welcome!<br><br> This Sunday we will focus on some fall cleanup projects: pulling up plastic, cleaning up tomato blocks and maybe a little garlic cleaning and root crop harvest. It is time to reap the final harvests and help the seasons along with putting the farm to rest for the winter.<br><br><b>What to bring</b>: We'll see what the weather looks like as the week goes on, but make sure to dress appropriately and bring gloves if you have them!<span> Lunch will be served afterward in one of the Common Houses- please bring your own place setting (plate-bowl-cup-silverware</span><span class="word_break"></span>-napkin) for the meal.<br> <div style="text-align: left;"><span class="text_exposed_show"><br><b>Please RSVP</b> to <a href="mailto:rfirak@gmail.com">rfirak@gmail.com</a> if you would like to come.
