We noticed that you offered our community a /“Sign of<br>Sustainability” /this year.<br><br>This is the citation acknowledging your efforts:<br><br> Share Tompkins Community and the Ithaca Sound Maze hosted a<br> community /"Sound Swap"/ in early October. People were welcome to<br> bring musical items from CDs to instruments, and participants were<br> encouraged to trade their items and bring personally crafted or<br> locally made items with them. All leftover music materials were<br> given to benefit local businesses, such as Hickey's Music and Ithaca<br> Guitar Works.<br><br>Since 2006, staff and board members at Sustainable Tompkins have<br>identified and honored individuals and organizations emerging on the<br>local scene, all doing their part to advance community sustainability.<br>With a record number of such /"signs"/ this year, there's a lot to<br>celebrate!<br><br>You're invited to the “Signs of Sustainability” reception on Sunday,<br>December 5^th from 4:30-6:30pm at the Women’s Community Building in<br>downtown Ithaca.
