It also includes the always interesting "Topic Of The Day" & "8-Minute Mix". Positions available include Sound Engineers, Online Team, On-Air DJ's/Hosts, & more. There will be volunteers from WICB (Ithaca College's Radio Station) assisting) as well as interviews with local, regional, & maybe even national artists. Those who show the dedication and effort could land a paid internship with local radio stations.<br> <br>*****"Mixology 101" Beginners DJ Class - Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays 6pm-7pm.<br><br>Come and learn about the art of DJ'ing. Develop the skills & techniques that it takes to move the crowd and learn about the technology behind it. Student will go step by step learning about how songs are constructed, timing, beatmatching, to more advanced techniques like live remixing & scratching. Students who demonstrate dedication & proficiency will be asked to join one of Ithaca's elite DJ crews, Firing Squad DJ's and can earn money performing at places like Cornell University, around the City of Ithaca, & other events.<br> <br>*****Youtube Channel - Tuesdays & Thursdays 5pm-6pm.<br><br>Document what goes on around the city & county, put your own spin on it, & get it posted on the Southside Community Centers new Youtube Channel. Grab your favorite recording device (or borrow our FLIP HD camcorder) record what you find interested, then come back, edit it, add your own recordings or graphics then let the world see what you see how you see it.
