Do you appreciate the importance of books in young lives? If so, <strong>Family Reading Partnership invites you to join our corps of WIC Readers</strong>! Our volunteer readers interact with children and families around books when they come for their appointment at WIC (Women-Infants-Children, a nutritional support program). In this waiting room setting, volunteers share books with children, while modeling for parents fun ways to read aloud. There are 2 sets of cards, one featuring families reading together and one featuring animals.
