In 1998, Robert was dropped by his health insurance carrier after paying his premium year after year, despite never having made a claim. He then began to research other options to health care in the U.S. Robert will share his findings, including the varieties and costs of care available in other countries.<br><br>Attendance is free but pre-registration is required and space is limited to 20 participants. Rock quintet Ayurveda will perform side one of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" in full; joining them on the bill are The Blind Spots, The Cheating Intention, The GunPoets, Not From Wisconsin, and two special one-night-only bands: Light Red, featuring Noah Drew (The Mill Bastards), Brian Dudla (Plastic Nebraska, The Thins), Michael Hunter (The GunPoets) and Andy Adelewitz (formerly of Armageddon Monks); and a still-unnamed group featuring Walt Lorenzut (Hubcap/Wingnut), Dani DiCiaccio, Chris Ploss and Chris Midgely.<br><br><br>III. IHA Annual Meeting<br><br>The Annual Meeting of the Ithaca Health Alliance will be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the Women's Community Building, located at 100 West Seneca Street in Ithaca, NY. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion, learn about IHA's organizational changes, and you to cast a ballot for our bylaws at the meeting.<br><br>A vote of final approval of the bylaws is being conducted among current active members of the organization. Community Wellness Day<br><br>On Saturday, May 7, from 12-3 p.m. we will be participating in Ithaca’s 2^nd Annual Community Wellness Day. This event will take place at Ithaca High School, 1401 N. Cayuga Street, and is FREE to all ages. the event will feature:<br><br>- More than 50 participants like us bringing you information on health and safety, and environmental and financial wellness.<br><br>- Great entertainment for the whole family, including face painting, Xbox Kinect, yoga, tai chi, and karate classes, live music, and much more!<br><br>- Complimentary fresh healthy food and beverages.<br><br>- Raffles throughout the day and lots more!<br><br>This non-profit event will benefit Family Reading Partnership, and The Village at Ithaca, respectively.
