Any family with income under $50,000, or any individual with no dependents with income less than $30,000, is eligible for free tax preparation. Tax returns are prepared by volunteers certified by the IRS and every return is reviewed by Alternatives' VITA staff.<br><br>Tompkins 2-1-1 is already busy screening clients and scheduling appointments for us. Our first appointments will be on Tuesday January 17th. Our regular schedule here at the credit union will be:<br>Tuesdays: 10am-1pm and 3-8pm<br>Wednesdays: 3-8pm<br>Thursdays: 3-8pm<br>Saturdays: 10am-2pm<br><br>We will also be hosting additional satellite sites in Caroline, Dryden, and Groton.
