<p>Hello! We are a dual income family in a clean & spacious Trumansburg house. We are hoping to find the ideal housemate who would be interested in exchange of FREE ROOM for child care for our 4 year old girl. She is in preschool from 8:30 to 3:30 anywhere from 2 to 4 days/week, so primary responsibilities would be helping her get ready in the morning & transporting her to school, picking her up in the afternoon & watching til mama gets home (currently this is ~ 7:30pm but it will be getting closer to 5:30 in the near future). The only days we need consistent coverage for are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All the hours in between, plus Tues & Thurs and weekends, would be open, so it should fit well with P/T work opportunities.<br>
<br>Ideal candidate for this position would be a single person or parent of young child, with verifiable child care experience and excellent personal references. The bedroom we are offering is spacious and semi-private (entrance through main part of the house, but in a section that can otherwise be closed off to the rest of the house by a hall door). We can also offer shared space in an office, making this a PERFECT situation for a telecommuter or an online student. Transportation is a must: although we are right on the TCAT bus route, our daughter's preschool is in Mecklenburg and we are a one-car family.<br>
<br>Age & gender are not important --just fit the profile of a responsible & trustworthy care provider who is confident with kids and friendly with housemates. We are a very easy-going couple & not hard to live with at all. The usual stipulations regarding tobacco & drug use around young children would apply, but we are not fascist about what you would do on your own time. We would offer a stipend with mileage allotment for trips to/from school to supplement your other sources of income; the amount would depend on how many days available & willingness to take on some light housekeeping tasks in addition. We're looking to make this fair & attractive to the ideal person, so we will be generous<br>
