MRC brings together a diverse group of people who make a commitment to meet together for five weekly sessions to deepen the level of our community-wide conversations on race, and to provide a safe space for each of us to consider taking our next steps in addressing local issues. <br> <br>Since 2007, MRC has hosted Talking Circles for more than 500 people, including Ithaca City School District (ICSD) staff, government officials, and community members. In September 2012, MRC is offering a community-based Talking Circle. MRC provides refreshments and child care, if needed. We ask that participants make a commitment to coming to all five sessions. All sessions are held in downtown locations.
