Any family with<br>income under $51,000, or any individual with no dependents with income<br>less than $30,000, is eligible for free tax preparation. Tax returns<br>are prepared by volunteers certified by the IRS and every return is<br>reviewed by Alternatives' VITA staff.<br><br>Tompkins 2-1-1 is ready to screen clients and schedule appointments for<br>us. Our first appointments will be on Wednesday January 16th. Our<br>regular schedule here at the credit union will be:<br>Tuesdays: 10am-1pm and 3-8pm<br>Wednesdays: 3-8pm<br>Thursdays: 3-8pm<br>Saturdays: 10am-2pm<br><br>We will also be hosting additional satellite sites in Caroline, Dryden,<br>and Groton.
