At the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County we recently conducted a survey of composting habits.  While we haven't sorted through all the data yet, our early numbers show that over

<b>half of our population composts regularly</b>!  <br>

Have you already composted a bit, but want to learn more? Are you new to composting but want to jump in with enthusiasm to do right?  Are you already a composting whiz and want to deepen your knowledge and become more of a resource for your neighborhood or

 community garden?  <b>Become a Master Composter</b>!<br>

Ten in-depth classes paired with hands-on internship hours train Master Composters, an enthusiastic and fun group of community volunteers committed to promoting responsible composting.<br>
