<div>SewGreen is again partnering with students and faculty at Cornell
University to make washable feminine hygiene kits for girls and young women in
impoverished areas. Days for Girls International (<a href="http://www.daysforgirls.org/">www.daysforgirls.org</a>) distributes the
kits worldwide. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>In extremely poor communities where there is no access to commercial
products, girls may be shut away for days every month. Each Days for Girls kit
contains everything needed to allow a girl to attend school or a job without
interruption.</div>

<div>SewGreen is holding two sew-ins this weekend, from 1 to 5 pm on Saturday,
October 26 and the same time Sunday, October 27 in its classrooms at 112 North
Cayuga Street, in downtown Ithaca. Anyone, age 12 and up, and who can use a
sewing machine, is invited to help. For information about the SewGreen sew-ins,

<div>Cornell’s sew-in will be held from 8 am to 6 pm, Sunday, October 27 in the
