<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt">EDITORIAL
OFFICE of Ecological Society of America seeks detail-oriented, self-motivated,
and deadline-driven individual to serve as Freelance Copy Editor for scientific
journals. Experience in using Microsoft Word and comfort with e-mail
communication and web-based applications are a must; experience in scientific
editing a plus.<span style>  </span>College- or graduate-level
background in biology, environmental science, or statistics is desirable. Command
of the English language is essential. The successful candidate must provide
their own Windows-platform computer and software and must be able to come in to
our office in Ithaca on a weekly basis. A commitment of approximately 10 hours
of work per week is expected; more may be available.</p>
