<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi Sharers,<br></div>Just a reminder that the on-line campaign to help fund a culvert upgrade at White Hawk Ecovillage in Danby is ending on August 15th!<br><br>White Hawk was recently awarded a $90,000 county grant to provide
affordable housing funds to three new income-qualified households, with
the possibility of receiving more grant money in the future. In order to
access these funds, though, the community will have to accommodate
flood conditions by installing a very expensive new bridge over
Buttermilk Creek where it crosses our access road.
<div><br></div><div>As a community, we have explored many ways to pay
for this unforeseen but critical infrastructure upgrade. To augment the
funds available from within the community and other sources, we are running a crowdfunding campaign through August 15th. With this kind
of campaign, many tiny donations really do add up, and even if you can't
donate you can help us out tremendously by sharing the campaign link
with others.</div>

</b></div><div><br></div><div>Everyone at White Hawk is working hard to
demonstrate that a mixed income community of this nature can exist and
thrive in today's world. Thanks in advance for checking out our campaign
and passing the link on to others who value community, cooperation,
interdependence, and sustainability.<br>
