Thank you!</b></blockquote><div><div><br></div><div>The CommonSpot is a shared space on the Ithaca Commons where a diverse group of members have access to high-speed Internet, office amenities, desk space, meeting rooms, empowering events, and an active community working toward the common good. Non-profits, remote workers, sole proprietors, freelancers, and other independent professionals are all invited to try out the space during the month of June.</div><div><br></div><div>The CommonSpot also rents out rooms to the public when available and has already hosted presentations, wine and cheese events, board meetings, a clothing swap, a high school class, discussion groups, and acroyoga workshops. The rooms are open and versatile. The space is also a participating showroom for downtown Ithaca’s gallery night on the first Friday of every month and is currently showing the nature-based oil paintings of Domenica Brockman.</div><div><br></div><div>The CommonSpot aims to have a positive impact on our community and natural environment through awareness building and the collective efforts of the membership that it supports. Central to the CommonSpot mission is an inclusive membership that fosters diversity in skill sets, interests, and vocation as well as race, gender, and age. In the coming year, the CommonSpot will begin offering programming and support services based on what our members need to thrive.</div><div><br></div><div>The CommonSpot is located on the Ithaca Commons at 126¾. Look for the red door between Petrune and Sheldon Hill.
