<p dir="ltr">Hi sharers!</p>
<p dir="ltr">I'm very excited about going on a trip this coming week with my children and friends to Miami so that I can perform and have fun at the Virginia key grassroots festival. The only hitch is that I have a prius and I've been realizing for the past several days that 2 adults, 3 children, all of their clothing, a tent, food, and toys and books for the kids will not comfortably fit into that tiny vehicle. I'm exploring the option of adding a roof rack to the car, but I'm not certain if I can get that done in time or the right way, or even if it would be enough for all of us, especially the children in the backseat (two of whom are still in a carseat and booster), to feel comfortable enough to enjoy the 2 day drive.</p>
<p dir="ltr">So I also want to explore the possibility of borrowing or renting a larger vehicle. While I'm willing and happy to compensate somebody for the use of their minivan or suv (in money, trade, etc.), renting from a company is coming up prohibitively costly. I was so happy that a similar request was granted a few years ago when my family's car broke down right before traveling for the holidays. I'm hoping that this community can follow through again!</p>
<p dir="ltr">My travel dates are Friday 2/12 to Sunday 2/20 or Monday 2/21. I can promise that the drive will be shared by 2 competent drivers with valid licenses and that the borrowed vehicle would be safely cared for. I will return it with a full tank of gas. </p>
