Sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension, and in conjunction with the 4-H Duck Race, the family-friendly event will feature games, crafts, prizes, compost science demonstrations, and music provided by Rot ‘n Roll. Attendees are encouraged to tour demonstrations of indoor vermiculture (worm) bins and Japanese Bokashi composting methods. They can also learn how to use ‘lasagna’ layering to mix an effective balance of ingredients in outdoor bins.
