This year <span class="gmail-m_-4275548818261220981m_3950694070489534333gmail-m_8207977321467361005gmail-il"><span class="gmail-il">Grassroots</span></span> Compost volunteers will:</span><span class=""><br class="">
</span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"" class="">1. Talk with hundreds of festival-goers at our compost education booth, campsites, etc.</span><span class=""><br class="">
</span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"" class="">2. Swap out compost buckets at food vendors and other stations around the festival</span><span class=""></span></p>

</span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"" class="">Last year we collected<b class=""><span style="color:red" class=""> </span>8,000 pounds</b></span><span class=""> of food scraps and significantly reduced waste stream contamination!</span><span class=""><br class="">

make this work, we need a solid crew of Master Composters, seasoned
<span class="gmail-il">Grassroots</span> compost crew volunteers, and other compost enthusiasts! 28 to
be exact (+ coordinators). Volunteers work <b class="">two
5-hour shifts</b> at the festival, and attend a pre-festival orientation meeting on <b class=""><span class="gmail-m_-4275548818261220981m_3950694070489534333gmail-aBn"><span class="gmail-m_-4275548818261220981m_3950694070489534333gmail-aQJ">Wednesday, July 18th from 6-8pm</span></span></b> for a total of <b class="">12 hours</b>.

Master Composter volunteer hours (for
MCs only), and the fun and satisfaction of helping to divert tons of
material from the trash. Volunteering is a great way to be contribute to
the festival and find a <span class="gmail-il">Grassroots</span> family.</span><span class=""><br class="">
