hi,
i have WL HDD with 60Gb drive :

[admin at hdd root]$ mount
/dev/root on /mnt type squashfs (ro)
none on /mnt/dev type devfs (rw)
none on /mnt/proc type proc (rw)
/dev/discs/disc0/part2 on / type ext3 (rw,noatime)
none on /dev type devfs (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
ramfs on /tmp type ramfs (rw)
usbfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw

[admin at hdd root]$ ipkg update
Downloading http://wl500g.dyndns.org/ipkg/Packages
Updated list of available packages in /opt/lib/ipkg/lists/wl500g
Downloading http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/unslung/unstable/Packages
Updated list of available packages in /opt/lib/ipkg/lists/unslung
Successfully terminated.

after this i have in /opt/lib/ipkg/lists/wl500g only :
Filename: ipkg_0.99.149-2_mipsel.ipk
....
despite in /opt/lib/ipkg/lists/unslung is full list of packages.

then obviously:

[admin at hdd root]$ ipkg install vim
Nothing to be done
An error ocurred, return value: 4.
Collected errors:
Cannot find package vim.
Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'

ends up like this.

thanks
ales
