Hello All
 
There'll be a Campaign Against Detention and Deportation of Iraqis (CADDI) planning meeting at 7.30pm this Wednesday 21st Sept at the Kurdish Community Centre. The office is near the Furnival cafe on Verdon Street, Pitsmoor.
 
The situation is urgent: the Home Office is now sending out letters to all Iraqi Kurdish asylum seekers giving them the "choice" of agreeing to voluntarily return (when the UK Govt deems northern Iraq "safe") or the likely loss of all benefits and accommodation.  These letters must be returned 15 days after they are received and many people in our area have already received them.
