Hi Sara,
We are going to miss you and Sujey tomorrow.
Jon and Andy should register as members and add themselves to the list of courses to be taught.
We can talk about all the ideas you have suggested for activities tomorrow as well as the financials and the spatial issues and get back to you soonest.
In solidarity,
M

Subject: Re: [SSC] Saturday meeting

Dear all,

It looks like I will be unable to
participate at this Saturday’s meeting. Sujey is unwell and I can’t
find childcare.

There are a couple of things I wanted to
ask/discuss:

There are two friends and colleagues of
mine who would like to offer courses with SCC.

Jon Mansell on the Political Economy of
Global Crisis for undergrads.

Andy Robinson: Proposal 1 – Anarchist thought (undergrads) and Proposal 2
- Activism and Critical Theory (MA.

They have both thought
of multiple assessment methods if desired by participants and different types
of pedagogical methods/frames for their courses.

There participation raises a number of
questions. Jon is in a very precarious economic situation and so to enable his
participation would need help with materials and also transport. Is this
something we are imagining we will provide/facilitate?

Andy is also in a precarious situation. He
will only be able to offer these courses from Nottingham.
He would need support finding a venue. Are we okay with SCC being decentralised
geographically like this?

Jon is able to attend the open day.

Norma Bermudez a Colombian popular
educator that is one of the founders of the Escuela Pazifica de Mujeres, Cali, Colombian
that develops feminist and pacifist popular education projects with women of
the shanty towns is with us for two weeks from Sunday. I have talked with Sarah
about organising a seminar in Lincoln
on the week of the 26th March in which to share her experiences.

I wanted to ask do we want to do this as a
SSC event of Uni of Lincoln event? I will try and accompany here but if not she
would need a translator.

Many thanks and happy meeting tomorrow J

Sara

Very good - like the 6pm one. Does it not
need to say when the evening event starts?

Bestest,

Richard K.

Dear All,

Waiting on a response from LCC about staffing costs... in the meantime,
please give these the once-over.

Sandie, Angel are happy for us to take food along, or they can organise
food... or a combination of the both... Open Buffet!

Respectfully yours,

David

Thanks for these Jamie... although you have changed the time at the top
of the flyer (5pm), it still reads 4.30 at the bottom!

Can you also rustle up one that ends at 6pm!

Thanks in advance,
