The ethos behind Alex Bloom's school, St George's in the East, could alleviate many of Mablethorpe's problems but it would take a strong will. Academic selection in our area has led to educational apartheid and community division. It's an elephant. Glad we're on the same page.

Dear all,

As some of you know, I've only recently joined the SCC and at the moment
I am very confused indeed.

According to the SSC Website, the meetings this week are on Wednesday
(Pathways). However, this mailing list mentions meetings on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays of this week. I can only attend one of these,
so can anyone elaborate on what these meetings are for?

Many thanks,
Lisa White
