Hi all,
I'll be there: and I'll bring some cakes.
Let's hope it's fine so we can distribute the leaflets at Speakers Corner. And maybe we could also make a few speeches - spreading the word to the people passing...
Best wishes,
Richard

Morning everyone,

Just to remind you that it's 12.15pm start tomorrow at Croft Street.

I'll be bringing something food (note to self: I must resist the temptation to use the chippy!).

Respectfully yours,

David

PS
The T-shirts are ready, I'll be collecting them this afternoon!

	Hi everybody,

I'm looking forward to Saturday's meeting and next Thursday's talk on radical education movements by Michael Fielding at the Collection.
	Who's coming to that?

Can we float suggestions for the Saturday meeting? I'd really like to continue developing ideas for all the things we're doing now, with the
Social Science Imagination course (maybe a short feedback from our meeting about this last week?) and other activities, as there seems to be
a lot of scope now for people to be involved in other things like open spaces, monthly seminars, I know there are people who want to offer
workshops, and etc. It would be great to hear what people are thinking and planning, and good to get some of the things we've been working on
up on the website. I'd also like to suggest that we could dedicate some time at the beginning to just clarifying some basic principles for
decision-making? Nothing hugely sophisticated at the moment, but we've recently had people in and out, and some concerns about processes in
meetings, and I think it would be really useful to have a clear shared understanding of where decisions about key issues get made and how.
Just thoughts. I'd be keen to know what others want to work on, on Saturday.

In the meantime, I'd like to share a link to an exciting new project organised by Neil Howard, Joel Lazarus, James Morrissey and James Sevitt
in Oxford, called the Political Economic Literacy project: http://www.peliteracy.org/people.html. I think it's well worth a look to see what
	they're up to!

We've also got a website up now for the Sustaining Alternative Universities conference in December, in case you're interested:
http://sustainingalternatives.wordpress.com/. It's rudimentary at the moment but should be interesting when people start sending in details
about what they're bringing/doing there. We've had an amazing response...there is so much going on around the country.

Is anyone up for bringing lunch stuff to share at the meeting?

	Best,
	Sarah
