[SSC] Thanks and invite to farewell party

Dear SSCers,

I hope you are all well. A lot has been happening in our lives and so I haven't been able to participate in SSC activities. 

Myself and my two daughters will be emigrating to Australia late March/early April as I have been offered, and accepted the position of senior lecturer in Politics  at the University of Newcastle, NSW. 

I wanted to thank everyone that I have met and worked with over the last 18- 24  months or so in activities and projects related to the SSC. I have learnt a lot and made some lovely connections and deepened others.

We will be having a farewell gathering at the Sumac Community Centre in Forest Fields, Nottingham, on Saturday 9th March between 4pm-11pm- http://www.veggies.org.uk/sumac/index.php

If you are able to come it would be lovely to see you  and say goodbye. If not then, I extend my thanks to everyone and send  blessings for your continued work to democratise education.
