Thanks very much, David, and for announcing tomorrow's meeting, and taking the time to make sure the space was available. 

I think 'looks at the what the story' should be 'looks at what the' (I recognise this as the result of good hard work trying to make words 
right).  :)

Is the punctuation after intellectuals correct?

A few other questions perhaps to discuss...

Why would we have all those institutional logos on the flyer -- (a) in themselves, in terms of what those institutions are and represent, 
and (b) do we have a collectively thought-through position on what that practice of placing logos on public documents does and is for (it 
hasn't always been the case that lectures were announced as being symbolically attached to 'branded' institutions, which frames them in a 
particular way)? Perhaps this is a useful moment for us to have that conversation again?

As with ANY design, what might this open up and to whom? What might it foreclose, and who might it exclude or alienate? 

Perhaps we can also at some point have a conversation we had  earlier in SSC history about where we get and will seek our inspirations for 
design? I think it would be exciting to think about it again at this point.
