I was just alterted to a nice new short piece by Platform, on the ball as ever, on how to shift meetings where men talk to men and those who 
are already familiar with a group talk to those who are already familiar with a group. We do some of the things recommended, though I think 
we still have things to work on not only in terms of gender but many different vectors of power and privilege that we could discuss. It 
might in any case be useful to think about it before the public lecture on Wednesday, the form of which should also disrupt these patterns 
and structures of power...
