I think that what you have achieved at the SSC Lincoln is truly inspiring, so firstly solidarity and congrats to all involved.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>As part of a recent three day strike at Leeds University, we organised a ‘teach-out’ seminar / lecture programme in lieu of cancelled classes. Of course, the content was much more interesting than the sanitised curricula one increasingly finds in the neo-liberal university, and both staff and students who participated were all energised by this experience of interdisciplinary, autonomous, and most importantly, free education.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>There is a big appetite (there are four universities worth of students and staff in Leeds) to continue this project in some form.
