I am an activist and academic currently based in Leeds. I think that what you have achieved at the SSC Lincoln is truly inspiring, so firstly solidarity and congrats to all involved.</p>

As part of a recent three day strike at Leeds University, we organised a ‘teach-out’ seminar / lecture programme in lieu of cancelled classes. Of course, the content was much more interesting than the sanitised curricula one increasingly finds in the neo-liberal
university, and both staff and students who participated were all energised by this experience of interdisciplinary, autonomous, and most importantly, free education.</p>
